We are based in Swadlincote Derbyshire, our small or part removals service covers Burton upon Trent, Derby, Leicester, Loughborough, Hinckley, Nuneaton, Tamworth and Lichfield areas. Our man with a van prices below are for local hire. Local means within a 10 mile radius of DE11.
IE: If our vehicle needs to cover more than 20 miles from base back to base to do the required job a charge of £1.00 per extra mile covered will apply.

All of our vans are modern and equiped for furniture removals and the vans we use are the actual ones in the pictures below, they are all signwriten so you know exactly who you are dealing with and who is driving off with a van full of your belongings.

MAN WITH A VAN  ( High Volume Sprinter/Crafter/Ducato size van )
Minimum Charge 1 Hour

From £35.00 and includes goods in transit insurance and fuel up to 20 miles base to base. You should be ready when our van arrives and any lose items should be boxed or in bags. You or you and your friends take your goods to and from the van the driver will help/assist and show you the best way to load/unload the van. Two passengers are allowed to travel with the van during the move. Your furniture and belongings will be treated with the utmost care, blankets and or straps will be used where necessary and are provided at no extra cost. Our vans are equiped with all the equipment that you would expect from a regular removals company, blankets, mattress covers, trollies and skates.

This is our most popular and cost effective service and can also be used locally to deliver or collect anything that will fit on to a XLWB High Roof Van.


75% of the small/part local moves we do using 1xman and van are completed within 2 hours costing £70 inclusive, so for less than it would cost to hire just the van from a van hire company you could use us. No security/damage deposit, no fuel to buy, no going to collect and return the van, no insurance paperwork to fill in plus you get an experienced pair of hands to help you.

Students
We provide a van with a driver who will also help you load and unload your belongings. "Vans with the convenience of a taxi" You don't hire our van just our service. No need for driver's licence, rental agreements, deposits or insurance documents. Student Removals Page


MAN WITH A VAN + Drivers Mate ( High Volume Sprinter/Crafter/Ducato size van )
Minimum Charge 2 Hours

From £45.00 per hour and includes goods in transit insurance and fuel up to 20 miles base to base. This service is for customers who do not wish to take their own furniture and belongings to and from the van. You should be ready when our van arrives and any lose items should be boxed or in bags. The Driver + Drivers Mate will then load/unload the van. Your furniture and belongings will be treated with the utmost care, blankets and or straps will be used where necessary and are provided at no extra cost. Our vans are equiped with all the equipment that you would expect from a regular removals company, blankets, mattress covers, trollies and skates.

TWO MEN WITH TWO VANS ( Two High Volume vans + drivers )
Minimum Charge 2 hours

From £70.00 per hour and includes goods in transit insurance and fuel up to 20 miles base to base. This service is for when there is a larger amount of furniture to move, or it is not possible to make multiple journeys with one van. Using 2 vans gives an overall loading capacity of around 1200 cubic feet. One of the other benefits of this service is the extra labour, the drivers can be used to do all of the loading/unloading.
